5 Ways to not Drink and Drive on St. Patrick’s Day

St. Patrick’s Day is around the corner and the San Antonio Police Officers’ Association is asking you to not drink and drive! Drinking a green beer with your friends is an appealing and fun experience but don’t let it be the last drink you have. Drinking and driving may have serious consequences for you and your family and friends. If you are not pulled over for being intoxicated, you may end the life of yourself or someone else out on the road. Drinking and driving is not an option on St. Patrick’s Day or any other holiday.

Take the following precautions to ensure the safety of yourself and someone else on St. Patrick’s Day!

  1. Use an Uber or Lyft.
  2. Call a friend or family member to pick you up.
  3. Determine a designated driver.
  4. Use public transportation.
  5. Don’t drink.

Don’t ruin what could be a fun and happy occasion. Have a safe and happy St. Patrick’s Day!
